Dorm Upgrade Submissions

Please submit your apartment upgrades here. Dorm upgrades are 2000 points each, and the cost may be divided between unit members. The following rules and guidelines apply to upgrades:

Up to three (though preferably just two) requests per person may be submitted at any given time. Please list your upgrades in order of priority, since if there are more than 15 upgrades within a dorm upgrade period there is a very high chance only your most prioritized one will be done in that wave!

Upgrade requests will be written up and sent out on a (mostly) biweekly schedule! Mostly because very occasionally they might happen weekly, and (HOPEFULLY) more rarely, if there is other game work to prioritize or real life happens, they may take longer - in this case we will try to get at least five requests sent out per week until things have settled.

Any player may draft a proposal for any dorm upgrades they have submitted themselves, but these will be subject to possibly very heavy editing! There are lots of edge cases and internal plot-related rules that limit what is actually possible, and in general we want to keep writing style as well as aesthetic more or less consistent. Alternatively we might just think a thing is really cool to add. In the case a self-written proposal is edited, we will comment to your request with the edit when other write-ups are sent out and from there you can then make further requests, the same as how it works with write-ups we do ourselves. If no edit is needed, we'll simply reply to your write-up with a note of approval like with all other points shop purchases.

Upgrade requests do not necessarily require a specific theme, but must not be worth several upgrades together, i.e. if you just want an empty room with a fridge and a sink that's fine, but if you want a bar and a bathroom and a study all at once, that is not. If you can theoretically split the upgrade into several different upgrades, then each component must be individually submitted.

To clarify the above point further, any separate room must be purchased as a separate upgrade - a general room upgrade cannot also add an entirely separate bathroom, though something like a half bathroom with no separation from the main room or a nook with a sink or toilet is acceptable.

Upgrades cannot include any appliance or item that produces food or drink with the exception of junk foods (chip racks, soda fountains, etc.) and cold foods that must be put together - Lunchables® are in fact a legitimate kitchen appliance!

While you may request specific details of the room, the unit's aesthetic may not be heavily compromised.

Upgrades cannot provide a way for characters to enter the dorm that isn't public balcony or that floor's elevator lobby - no secret entrances from somewhere else to a private room or any other alternate entryways. In addition, while alternative exits from a dorm are allowed, they may only be one-way and must lead to some part of the hotel that has a pre-existing corresponding one-way pathway usable as an exit, such as the laundry room's laundry chute. In general, a handy guideline is that no upgrade cannot allow characters to bypass the main room of the unit's dorm, or create a new entrance or exit in the hotel proper.

We reserve the right to reject any upgrade that does not follow the above set of rules.

As a note, price may be reduced or increased depending on the request! We will contact you to let you know if this happens, with reductions being much more common than increases (except in the case of something being split into two separate upgrades).

Please make sure to check to see if your unit's dorm already has locks, soundproofing, and increased size for all bedrooms! These will almost always be applied to all bedrooms when requested, and therefore most dorms should already have them. These also apply to all additional rooms within a bedroom.

Please also make sure that you check the Dorms Page and look at the player changes for any rooms you're making changes to or upgrading! This is just to prevent any toe-stepping.

A balcony for Cobalt's room, at least big enough to set up a table and chairs or to practice sparring or something. Accessible from his bedroom via floor-to-ceiling glass (French?) doors that let in lots of light.

The view from the balcony is fake (but indistinguishable from reality.) The view, time of day, and weather can all be adjusted manually with some kind of control panel, so the view can look like a mountain range, beach, canyon, etc. Or it can just look like Tokyo-F, with whatever weather Imeeji is having that day.

Since the balcony area exists in its own private space, neither it nor Cobalt's room is visible/accessible from outside the hotel.

Attached to every room belonging to a member of pep!pep is a sizable balcony, with exactly enough space to provide a fairly decent sparring arena. Paneled french doors provide access from each room, and a control panel next to them allows for changing the holographic scenery, including the weather and time of day, though looking back towards the building they are in always looks like a school, not the hotel. At appropriate times of day, they can see students in uniforms similar to theirs walking by. By default, it’s set to appear to be an exact copy of Tokyo-F, as the city appears in reality at the time a balcony is being used.

Details: Standard kitchen for in-dorm cooking, with additional equipment that focuses on baking.

avante’s kitchen is made entirely of cobblestone and looks a lot more like a blacksmith’s forge than a kitchen. A large stone baking oven shares the middle with a more traditional brick oven, though both of them when turned on appear to contain the very fires of hell.

A large anvil shaped stovetop sits against the far wall, and embedded into the wall above it is a microwave with a iron door which slides open via handle. When turned on, it also glows with the heat of the molten steel of a hundred swords that have been folded over a thousand times.

Simple wood-and-straw cabinets and an electric (but otherwise entirely wooden) icebox occupy the corner, for storage. The cabinets also contain kitchenware, utensils, and anything one would need for baking. There is also an actual cauldron with actual molten steel in it, making it entirely unusable...or maybe you can find some use for it? Be creative! Peering into it for too long reminds you that though you have withstood an inordinate amount of pain and created a vast amount of weaponry, your hands willl, quite unfortunately, never hold anything of any real substance.

Or maybe it’s just your heart telling you’re really hungry and you want to cook a lot of food. Either/or, you know?

Details: A balcony patio!

OUR DREAM:
A balcony that resembles an outdoor patio at a bar, with a couple of wooden high-top tables closer to the patio doors under an awning in case of rain, and near the edge overlooking Faukyo, a more comfortable seating area with cushioned wicker furniture surrounding a little fire pit. String white lights would stretch over the exposed parts, and off to the side would be an outdoor bar -- hopefully with a small herb garden to be used for mixing drinks! (I.e. mint, rosemary, etc.)

BARiTONES has a balcony with an excellent view owing to its position at the top of the corporate (and also actual physical) ladder, allowing for dramatic viewing of the whole of Tokyo-F with a wine glass in hand like the sleazy businessdrunks they are. Largely, the balcony itself looks much like the sort of neatly arranged outdoor patio you’d find at an upscale bar, with a couple of wooden high-top tables near the patio doors, which sit beneath a claret red awning. At the edge of the balcony -- against the steel railing that has neatly arranged grape vines intertwined with it -- is a seating area with a comfortable lounge sofa and wicker chairs and trays surrounding a small fire pit.

Over the parts of the balcony not covered by the awning are string lights, and on the lefthand side upon entry is a outdoor bar with an icebox, a hidden ice machine, and plenty of space for everything you need to mix drinks and change lives. Against the railing is a set of planter shelves, which contain all herbs that are commonly found in alcoholic drinks.

A private bathroom/hang out area that somehow connected via B and C's rooms on either side (but each side locks so B can still have his private time with Gold). There's a fancy sink area and other crystal utilities and such, but also a small hot tub and lounge area. Possibly a mini bar full of juice boxes. Also, pillows. Bitches love pillows. The color scheme is crystal Alcheme Purple and black and white.

B and C’s rooms each have lockable doors which lead into a shared spa room bustling with purple and white pillows, though some of them just seem to be hunks of precious gemstone for some reason?

A crystalline, reflective minibar sits at the edge, along with the same utilities found in AlcheME!’s kitchen complete with sink. Across from the bar is a hot tub that emits Mysterious Purple Wizard Mist™, with two mirror-plated lounge chairs and a small coffee table.

Medusa and Shine agreed we should have a laundry room so that we don't have to waste money buying new clothes all the time. Must come with laundry room essentials, plus whatever is needed to clean the special fabrics used in the unit's shiny glowy outfits.

They'd appreciate it if we can somehow incorporate sheep, dragons, and Jyantas into the room.

future is now’s laundry room truly is a vision of the future! Equipped with state of the art Sheep^6 Washing Machines, Blue Eyes White Dryers, and automagic Jyanta-styled laundry carts which load and unload the machines with the press of a button. It is otherwise a simple affair, a sterile white room with a counter at the back for placing things, and above that, a set of chrome cabinets that contain any supplies that would be needed for cleaning clothing. This includes a few that seem to be of dubious scientosity but are really shiny and glittery when applied to clothes, so who really cares?

The screen doors slide aside to open to a room with a ceiling twice as tall as the hall leading to it, the windows in this room clear rather than stained glass, sliced into portions with wooden slats placed in a rhythmic but not entirely even pattern. The light from these windows illuminates the room well, but from above, hanging on chains are dozens of lanterns with shades that can direct their lights in any direction placed on tracks-- they can be lowered, pushed and shoved and raised up around the room to spotlight things or create different light sources for when the curtains above the windows are dropped to black out the room and seclude it from all natural lighting. The curtains block out light entirely, and are a simple black and red maple branches sparsely patterned across it.

Cabinets haphazardly stack up against a wall, square drawers containing brushes, ink, oil colors, acrylics, watercolors, canvases… all the usual artist's tools. Wooden easels are nearby, waiting to be used, as well as a sink for washing the brushes. The empty expanse of the walls also make an excellent surface for mounting artworks.

A door in avante’s hallway leads to a large recital room, or perhaps a small concert hall -- it’s set up and decorated like a chapel, with ornate gilden, velvet-cushioned chairs and a square patterned wood floor. Two large windows on the side walls allow light to flood in at all times of day, and nothing can really be seen out of them besides...more light. It’s almost blinding, really. The golden silk curtains can be drawn and closed via a tasset to control the amount of light in the room.

Along the walls are baroque-style portraits of every member of avante en garde past and present, posed with their most commonly used sword. The frames of each portrait are the depicted member’s position colour. Two large braziers flank the stage that occupies the far third of the room, which contains an upright piano. Though it’s hard to tell until it’s played that’s what it is -- it looks like a pipe organ built into the wall, completely with a large attached mural depicting a war between angels and demons engraved into gold and bronze. A pair of heavyset curtains hang from the ceiling, and a button on the pipedesk piano can open and close them as needed. A panel off to the side also contains controls for the incredibly robust sound system, including functionality for connecting your phone to play whatever unrefined, hooligan music you wish within these sacred halls.

Entering AlcheME!’s dorm you find yourself in a large room instead of the normal common room. There is a pair of therapy couches draped with purple glittery linens, and display frames and cases along the walls for storing fanmail or pictures your children made at school.

Behind the couches is a giant dividing rift in the floor. It is filled entirely with pillows. There is no way across but to brave the pillows or jump.On the other side of the moat is a large, fanciful fountain that looks like a large group of crystals exploding from the ground with water pouring down from them into a basin. At the top of the crystals is a glowing orb, which produces a steady multicoloured fog. There is a platform just below the surface of the water capable of seating exactly One (1) Boy (Singular), allowing you to perch like some sort of feudal mermaid wizard lord, looking down upon the peasants.

Access to the rest of the dorm is behind the fountain, through a Mysterious Fog Wall. Ooooo~

A’s room has a lockable door, openable only by his phone or the phones of anyone he designates. A window (with blinds that can be pulled down) now exists on it with a nameplate that reads “PLEASANT BOY, PRIVATE SEER”. Inside is a decent-sized glittery couch for dames or dame-like individuals to faint on, which sits in front of a functional (if a bit dangerously crystalline in parts) desk, with a simple chair.

His closet has extra shelving, as well as the area on the wall behind the desk. The surfaces in the room are tarnished, still slightly reflective but mostly fogged with any shapes hard to discern. The room is dimly lit, and really at times seems almost black and white.

A coat rack sits by the door, and on the wall across from A’s bed is a large blank whiteboard with magnetic lodestone clips and...rolls of yarn? Lots of yarn.

so Persephone would like a wisteria labyrinth maze...entranceway? courtyard? for his room. Like "someone opens his bedroom door, finds maze, has to actually transverse the maze to find the actual door to his bedroom" .
something like this but an eerie, beautiful, always in bloom maze.

in the center of the maze, maybe have a...nice pond (no blood, if possible) and a couple of (creepy?) sakura trees (*idk if they're in aesthetic though). a nice spot to relax for a little while.

Entering Persephone's room finds one in a sprawling maze with walls composed of thick trunked crawling wisteria which threads through a series of arbors, creating what is essentially a walled tunnel with the flowers hanging from between the slits in the wall and "ceiling". Visible every often as you pass through is the moon, waxing and a crimson red. It looks almost as if it's melting into the sky, the bottom "dripping" behind the cloud cover.

Aside from sounds made by any travelers there is nothing but complete and utter silence. The air stands almost completely still and yet it the labyrinth doesn't feel stuffy in the least. And what's more, somehow the hanging wisteria still sways as if there is a breeze. At the center of the labyrinth is a pond: its water is sometimes clear, though if one stays long enough in the area to watch the petals fall from the nearby sakura trees they'll see that when they hit the water they begin to sink and dissolve, diffusing a pastel pink colour in plumes as if they were drops of ink.

This clearing has a decent view of the sky, and a single bench. Here the ground is dirt, and at the base of each sakura tree - well, did you know? There's bodies buried beneath the cherry trees! You can take my word for it -- after all, how else could they bloom so beautifully? It's the sort of unbelievable beauty that leaves one out of sorts for a day or two. Of course you have to take my word for it!

And besides! Look at the greedy roots of the trees, tangled like an octopus, as they happily absorb the blood that permeates the ground beneath them. Isn't that such a beautiful thing, too? To take in such a sight is to find your vision suddenly focused, and you can finally see the petals of the trees. They lead those who seek it to the labyrinth's end -- and so yesterday, or perhaps the day before yesterday, one finds themselves finally set free from this unsettling mystery.

Details: A kitchen and all that goes with it with a breakfast nook! Also a tandoor oven too if possible??? Is that safe indoors? Well, they can heal each other if not.

sensitIV's kitchen is a gruesome affair, the sort of place that would definitely never pass an FDA inspection. For one? The large basin sink set in the middle of the counter that spans the far wall will on occasion just let loose a torrent of blood from the faucet instead of water. The paintjob adorning the wooden counter and the cabinets inside and to the sides of it is reminiscent of the clinic, with neon pink and green and blue splatters haphazardly spotted across everything. The fridge is covered in pastel bandages, and the icemaker in the freezer will on some days just produce blood cubes. At least it seems to clean itself once it starts producing actual ice again!

The microwave appears to just be a giant mouth in the wall. It cooks food perfectly fine, so you probably shouldn't think about it. The cabinets, while filled with all the kitchen essentials one could possibly need, are somewhat of a mess. Stray pill capsules and random syringes full of mysterious pink fluid can be laying around in most of them, and the drawers -- while most have a mix of utensils, some just have...knives. A ton of different types of kitchen knives, completely unorganized, many not even in particularly good shape. Removing the knives from the knife drawers just leads to them ending up back in there by the end of the day, or in more appearing if they're destroyed. It's a bit of a problem!

The lighting is at least bright and cheerful, even if nothing else here is. White and blinding like a overhead hospital lamp!

In the center of the kitchen floor is a clay tandoor oven, which seems pretty dangerous in and of itself but aside from its pastel pink colouring and the "blood splatters" on it, it seems fairly normal. Rather than a stovetop, a detachable wire rack sits on the oven like a foot-tall chimney (so people don't fall into the oven) with a wire netting like a basket. Inside the basket are macaron-shaped lidded hot plates, made of heavy cast iron and blood-splattered with neon. Super cute! Super hot! Nothing about this stove and oven setup is safe but it's sensitIV so whatever!

A breakfast nook provides a seating area and some shelter from the light, situated as it is next to a window that has a view out into murky twilight.

Details: He'd like an addition to his room that's a beautiful park behind some ornate door. Bunch of cool trees, plants, and flowers! And at the center of a small lake there's a statue of Gandora whose body beads can light up and the colors can be changed to set the mood. If possible, he'd also like to be able to "set" the time of day - morning, afternoon, evening, & night. And finally, maybe an ornate bench that can also pull out into a bed. ~~Basically just a hella relaxing room~~.

(This is just a real quick note that we actually missed this dorm upgrade with this batch, so we'll be adding it in later! Sorry for the wait!)

Mostly just want in-dorm kitchen with oven/stovetop and maybe a cute countertop with a washing area for dishes. Naybe one of those walk-in pantries to store stuff and a fridge (could be a mini-fridge if necessary). Be nice to incorporate some sun elements into design, if possible. Also a small window somewhere in the room would be cool.

The kitchen in pep!pep!'s dorm can be reached through a classroom door in the common room, and it's no coincidence that it appears like a home economics classroom. Six stainless steel lab tables protrude from the side walls, three on each side with stools for seating.
The bases of the tables have drawers and cabinets with kitchenware and utensils.

A deep stainless steel sink makes a large part of the counter immediately next to the door, and next to it is a standard microwave, though it's very old and janky and its LED panel barely works and all of the numbers and lettering on the control panel are worn and hardly legible.

A fridge flanked by two drink coolers that are always filled with ice sit opposite of the sink counter, the plastic on all three chipped and scraped in multiple places. In lieu of a stovetop the room is equipped with a multitude of hot plates in all sizes, but thankfully there is are three ovens complete with broilers, set up at eye level on the back wall of the dorm. There are posters and placards everywhere reminding you in no less than 20 different languages to wash your hands.

A small openable window lets in sunlight, next to one of the backmost tables. Sitting and basking in its luminescence makes you feel special, like an amazing adventure is about to start…! Alternatively it just makes you look weird and kinda shady. Who can say?

Taisho Roman Revolution's main room has been expanded out to fit a larger living room set-up. Stepping up from the genkan, the room has hardwood floors (easier to clean ink off of!). Two low couches face each other, one a leather fainting couch, the other a floor level sofa, a deep brown suede and tufted to match the fainting couch. A small coffee table sits between them, a pair of 1920's art deco lamps glowing atop it. In the cold winter months, this coffee table can be swapped out for a kotatsu, which is otherwise kept stowed away in a shallow cabinet off to the side. Atop this cabinet is a small collection of plants: one is a hornbeam bonsai, with leaves that turn brilliant gold in autumn; an azalea bonsai which flowers a brilliant taisho red; and a chrysanthemum bonsai with yellow sunbursts of blooms. Besides the cabinet sits a bookshelf with books recently checked out by members of Taisho Roman Revolution sitting on the shelves.

Off to the other side of the room, a staircase has been constructed from shelves and cabinets leads up to their original main room, which has been moved to the newly constructed upstairs. The cabinet drawers are clear glass, to be used as a curio cabinet for knick knacks, and Taisho Roman Revolution can stash whatever they like in the drawers.

AlcheME!’s laundry room is as confounding as the rest of the dorm, as it consists entirely of “washing machines” and “dryers” that appear to just be large crystal balls that you shove clothes and detergent into before watching them fill with purple. This cleans and dries them, somehow!

A drying rack and a sink exist for hand wash-only clothes and people who are cowards that hate fun and magic, situated next to a counter that contains a supply of various clothing cleaning supplies.

Details: A room-sized ball pit. For grown-ups. With a rake, so that the balls get deeper and deeper the further you wade in. It glows, preferably with multicolored lights that can be controlled by the touch of a switch. A stairway leads down into the shallow end. At the deep end is a small spiral slide into the ball pit. The door leading into the room is heavy, imposing, and has a plaque on it reading 'OFFICE'. A sliding sign by the door could show if the room is in use.

Is there any way this can be placed below the main floor so that people can be dropped into the deep end from a hidden trapdoor in the first room? (Also stairs, because even AlcheME! get tired of trapdoors sometimes.)

In AlcheME’s lounge is a ball pit, just in front of the door -- well, it’s not easy to tell since it the entrance is part of the reflective floor. Dramatically slamming down your hand on a certain section of the fountain (or just using your phone) will slide a section of the floor away, dropping any unfortunates onto a spiral glittering gemstone slide that drops them directly into the deep end of the ball pit, which itself is set up much like a pool. It’s rectangular, with a gradiated floor that goes from shallow to deep so that the last thing your enemies see before they are consumed by the orbs is your laughing face.

Well, that and also everyone who didn’t fall for the trap as they enter the room the ball pit is in via a set of large, ornate and forboding dark violet double doors marked with Ancient Glowing Runes™. This door is accessible once the trap has been sprung: a small staircase in the floor opens a few feet away from the trap door, which opens up to a mirrored tunnel which makes...strange water dripping noises? There’s no water in here.

At the end of the tunnel is the door, with a plaque that reads “OFFICE” and a green/red “OCCUPIED” sign below that to inform you whether any poor souls have fallen into darkness or if someone is just enjoying the ball pit.

The shallow end of the ball pit as a ledge-wide staircase that allows simple entry into the pit, and a pedestal right at the entrance has a dial which allows for controlling the colour of the dark, constantly shifting lighting that reflects off mirrored surfaces hanging from the ceiling.

Approved! This upgrade will apply to everyone's rooms. The following will be added to the dorm page:

pep!pep!'s individual rooms have been upgraded with sound proofing and a door lockable by the room owner's phone. It also has a sound system that's quite a bit less grand than pep!pep!'s theater but still quite good. Unlike the unit's theater, it has no voice controls and instead has an app on the owner's phone alongside the door lock.

The beds are comfortable loft beds that are now accessible via ladder, with an attached carpeted reading area one can reach by stopping midway up. It comes with boring, huge, and useless textbooks that when opened for the first time reveals a screen in which the owner can choose a style of poster for nondescript TV shows or music bands or ... you know ... cough ... sexy pinups. Some of this ... some of this is against school regulations.

Once the style has been selected, the owner can select upward of 5 posters total that will appear in the book when they close the book and then open it again. After that is done, the textbooks are just fake, hollowed out compartments for whatever contraband the owner might want to stash away.

Details: Room that's like Tony Stark's workshop from the Iron Man movies connected to her room via a secret door or something. I suck at this description thing! But, if possible, with her Mech at the center. It doesn't have to be operational ( decommissioned mech!!! ), but she. wants. it. Bunch of tools and cool computer screens that rotate this and that. Dim the lights. Bring up movies. Play radio. Just a bunch of sick ass tech stuff. Back armor cabinets can be filled with variations of her Henshin that are for nothing more than decoration. A sweet work desk and a big comfy ass couch, for when playing pretend gets to be too much.

In D.VA's closet is a hidden door behind where clothes are hung, and entering finds one in a large, expansive room with fluorescent lighting and a single gigantic stainless steel table against the back wall similar to the ones found in the kitchen, complete with cabinets and drawers filled with tools and various boxes of scraps.

The floor is largely tiled and scuffed, but in the center is a raised platform with a rack that is configured to secure a single person sized mech with the press of a button (mech not included, unfortunately!).

Aside from those features, one large workbench each sits against the left and right walls, with a variety of monitors that display random technical info and provide various options for controlling the room's lighting or controlling its radio. They are also capable of playing any movies that the room's owner has on their phone, purchased from the points shop. On the wall above each bench is a sheet of particleboard with hooks riveted into it to provide easy access to tools. Horizontal display cases flanking each bench have variations on the room owner's Henshin armour, though they're all nonfunctional.

A single plain couch sits in front of the mech storage pedestal.

I ASSUME SOME OF THIS WILL APPLY AS A COMMUNAL DORM UPGRADE? I’m writing it up for what King wants in his room specifically, but I imagine the bigger bed/windows/etc. will end up being universal either way? Elbow me in the face if I’m doing this wrong.

All Heart Soldier Senshi rooms are soundproofed come with a king sized bed with sleek cylindrical nightstands on either side. Slanted glass windows protrude out from one wall - they can either be opened to feel the breeze of programmed to show Perfectly Generic Nature Landscapes when you're not looking out at the city.

And King will get this specific upgrade:

King's room features a domed skylight, positioned perfectly to filter sunbeams directly onto a spot at the foot of the bed. Here, part of the floor can be made to retract via a button on either nightstand to reveal a recessed, rectangular pond filled with Egyptian lotus.

Around the room are inverted-pyramid pots which contain starflowers of a variety of colours, preventing the corners and empty spaces of the room from looking too bare.

Details: A large communal courtyard garden similar to what might be found outside an (upscale) anime high school, with benches, cherry trees - could these be eternally in bloom, though showing seasonal variations in the leaves? - grass squares of various sizes and a fountain in the center. Some planter beds full of hardy flowers would also be nice. A large clock could be visible on the building behind them, possibly with chimes going off at the appropriate times to call the students into class. The garden is surrounded by a brick wall topped with iron high railings, with a wide path leading to an arched iron gate (locked and impassible) at the far end. What's visible outside it would be at mods' discretion - possibly just an appropriate part of Tokyo-F, but something slightly weirder would be fine too!

Adjacent to pep!pep’s pool is a large school quad-garden, cement walkways crisscrossing to form the edges of stands and displays. Wooden park benches sit in viewing areas, allowing one to relax while they look out on the cherry trees and the planters which line the path, filled with vibrant blue-and-white chrysanthemums, lilies, irises, and peonies.

The garden itself is surrounded by a brick wall topped with iron railings and opposite the pool entrance is a wide cobblestone path leading what...might be out of the garden, who knows. It’s blocked by a tall arched iron gate that’s locked tight and cannot be climbed or squeezed through. Visible past the gate is a city, but one that looks and sounds busier than Tokyo-F. No actual distinct figures can be identified, but there’s definitely people sounds and cars passing by on a nearby street?

Every hour, the clocktower that rises up from the brick wall rings its bell, letting everyone know it’s time for the next class. Though keep in mind, the bell doesn’t dismiss you, the teacher does!

The idea is, when you enter from the hallway, you can either go into Nem's normal room or you can go a different direction to an "outdoor" space that is mostly taken up by a large medieval-style tent that can open partially to the "elements". Inside are:
- soft things to lounge on--cushions or rugs or furs or d, all of the above
- a place to display treasures, possibly connected to...
- a comfy box bed that can lock from the inside but somehow it is not too dark inside if you do
- some sort of brazier or firepit for warmth and also fire
- mini-fridge or thematic drink dispenser, pull the sword from the stone and mead comes out, idk
- bunch of lanterns and lamps with clear and colored glass/waxed paper hung and strung about to keep the place lit because someone's afraid of the dark

Would also be cool to be able to control the skybox for "outside" to look and sound like semi-rural Japan (frogs and fireflies!), but if that's out of scope, no worries. Post-game stress relief tent is the important bit! Thank you

The doorway to Nemesis' room can, by tapping a certain brick adjacent to the door, instead send those entering to what seems to be jousting list. The center of the list is taken up by a large tent, in the style of a tourney pavillion. The tent contains sheepskin rugs and small tassel pillows, as well as a box bed nestled between two attached glass display cases. The box can be locked from the inside, but no matter what the interior will always glow with the fire of the occupant's inner forge (unless you know, they don't want that). In the center is a firepit with a spit above it for Old-Style Cooking™, not too far away from a minifridge that appears to be made of several swords melted together.

Particularly bright lighting is provided by the strings of paper lanterns that criss-cross the ceiling of the tent. Alternatively, one can pull a string located near the bed which will open a section of the tent's top up to the outside, allowing sunlight in. Or, at night, a view of lazily drifting fireflies, and the sound of frogs from the outside.

Avante contains a large meeting room which features a humongous wood-and-onyx slab table with a map of Tokyo-F draped over it. The map is large enough to also contain a section that lists each unit in Imeeji, along with the names of their members - each unit is marked with a "royal seal". The floor itself is brickwork, but by flipping the switch at the entrance that dims the room's single large chandelier, can be made to project a holographic 3D scale model of Tokyo-F, through which anyone in the room can walk and feel like a kaiju.

Each member of Avante has their own unique chair, and old chairs are placed in a display case on the far wall of the room when a member graduates or is transferred.

When we post this on the unit dorms page, it'll have a space for people to link their specific chairs.

Gold's room features in its center an incredibly large, covered bed. The entire floor is carpeted in avante gold rugs, the room's light provided by a wide, tall single-pane window on the far wall which doubles as a telescreen upon which any downloaded movies may be watched. Beneath the screen is a fireplace, which can be adjusted via thermostat and have its intensity changed to anything from "gentle glow" to "ROARING FLAMES OF JUSTICE". To the side is an alcove with a card table and four chairs, as well as a set of serving trays and a rack of shelves for storage.

The room is otherwise wide open and empty. It is soundproofed, and can be locked via use of the owner's phone.

PS, can the way up and the high ceiling both be somehow obscured from ground level? Like, if you know they're there, you can find them and get up to the top, but if you don't know what to look for you don't even realize it's not a normal ceiling.
