BEACH EPISODEOkay but actually let me be... serious... about this. IT'S SUPER TROPEY AND STANDARD for there to be the obligatory "holiday/fan-service-y" episodes/chapters in anime/manga. So like "summertime beach trip," "onsen," "skiing lodge," "spooky halloween shit" etc etc you get the picture. You might even be able to take it a step further and expand it to things like "maid cafe" or "host club" or do homages to previous rp games.I've seen in other games very low-key mingle games thematically made put into use for the purpose of providing fun things for people to do an relax with periodically and this might be a fun "participatory" thing to do that... okay maybe you don't full points for winning a game, but maybe enough to buy a (cheap) memory.
These sorts of scene changes are nice because like. Obviously the game is about murder and stuff but you need enough down time and pleasant things to keep everyone from just breaking totally / able to participate in games, but sometimes running a mingle game and having to deal with scoring or rules/mechanics might be too much to have to mess with. You could slap some kind of unavoidable setting change like this up briefly and have everyone interact with it for a short time as a fun little breather between trauma or the regular.

When games can't be ran but you're still yearning for an in game Event, have a By Fan Request event. The event could be gamewide status effects or making it cold so everyone can blanketfic or locking people in a room together etc etc. Basically setting stage for popular fics and plots. Participation could be rewarded with an amount of points. This way you don't have to push yourself to have a game every week while still having some stuff going on to interact with.
This is mostly because re: status effects there are some that people will just never be able to ICly get into that OOCly they want. alcheme is never going to willingly ingest truth serum is what im saying
If you ever crave player ran NPCs By Fan Request could possibly allow one time OCs let into the game to attempt to live out their weird dreams like Smooch Avante or Get Strangled By Seto Kaiba to stir trouble.

Since the games run so early on weekdays, though, it would be really cool if they could be announced two weeks in advance so that if folks wanted to take a day or half day off work to be around for something, they could. Just some food for thought. o/

(And in the meantime, thank you again for giving us as much notice as you've been able to. I mean it, you guys have been fantastic with the announcements so far. <3)

It's a story-telling card game about making your characters' lives miserable. Seems like it would fit right in. :|a

-Either mod ran or ask for some player assistance in case NPCs are needed
-Each team has a Scenario to play through that was created by their Fandom
-The scenarios can range from interacting with a bad self insert OC in a romance scene or reenacting past terrible moments or actually please I just want a coffee shop AU
-Points awarded on whether or not they display their Unit Traits in the scenario
-There could also be a Preferred Ending to work towards as an alternate way to decide winners
-Alternate win condition, have an unknown to players set of events/tropes that need to take place in order to win (picked by scenario or same across all teams)
-Diverse game that could be used for fluff or trauma and ran multiple times
-Units could be grouped together to interact in a scenario i.e. plz give me my FiN and Zrael flower shop au or Avante vs HSS battle scene
-NPCs not required for all scenarios created but would be fun for some thus a possible need for help via runners

Blackjack of Suffering.
All teams must play 3 rounds of Blackjack.
-Bust: Someone will die
-Under 21: the further from 21, the more violence enacted
i.e. you get 18, that's 3 away from 21, you get slapped in the face. If you stay at a 5, thats 16 away from 21, you lose limbs
-Blackjack: Can cancel up to 21 points of damage or a death
BUT
Deaths/violence will not occur until the game ends and players can choose to play more rounds to dig themselves out the hole by trying to get a blackjack
Winners are the ones who have the least damage points collected

Possibly reskin it to be more idol-ish

Give everyone a basic points cost limit per present or some sort of limit
Can't give presents to unitmates
End of game each person decides the Best Present they received and the units that score highest win
If ya wanna be nice people keep their chosen #1 present

Let a few people who want to run things sign up
They run a scenario based on a broadcasted memory their character had BUT
the ran scenario doesn't have to be constrained by facts, they can be presented as fandom interpretations so that they can do wacky things with it if they want
winner could be decided by runner or you could set in place some goals/traits for each runner i.e. in a sensitiv's memory you score points by being cute or sad or having an emotional breakdown or some such
its a very abbreviated sort of heart game i suppose, way less scope

Just make groups to play together where no group can have two from the same unit. Whoever gets to the set amount of points first wins!

I went through a CAH sheet and tried to remove all the especially bad ones and alter pop culture references to Imeeji references. I could have missed some but those can be edited/removed as discovered via RNG. I haven't added many Imeeji specific things yet because I imagine you may want to crowdsource those but when you do I don't mind dumping them in the sheet for you if you guys need a hand.

SO! A simple secret revealing game.
OOCly everyone prepares 5 'secrets' for their characters. They can be low or high key, but should probably be a mixed bag. Secret crushes, secret thoughts, secret worries, secret plans, secretly murdering thousands of people, etc.
ICly the characters receive their secrets written down on cards, the goal is to talk to people and figure out their secrets while hopefully not revealing your own!
Once a secret is discovered, they give the person who figured it out the card with that secret on it. This counts as one point. Teams with the most points at the end of like, 3 or 4 days? Wins.
It's also a TRUTH game! So no lying except for about the secrets on your cards! You can lie to try to guard those. (Secrets not written on the card you can't lie about, but it's truth potion effect so you can always just eat your fist instead or whatever).
I think this creates a fun dynamic where people who always lie about their secrets are thrown kind of for a loop because they do have the tell the truth about anything not one of those five special subjects, BUT if they aren't careful it will be easy to tell the lies from the truth.
You have to give out HINTS. The hints should be pre-written, maybe 3 in total. If someone asks for a hint you have to give it to them, BUT they have to give you one of their hints too.
If someone does correctly guess the secret you can't lie about THAT so you must give up the card.
They can have multiple copies of the same card so the same secret can be learned more than once.
No telling other people's secrets within the timeframe of the game (so no cheating!) after the game is fine of course!

Two units paired up and provided with starting prompts (Mad Verse City is a rap battle game that provides prompts and can be referenced for such), or can throw down freestyle. The goal is to verbally and lyrically trash the other unit, rhymes are mandatory just because they make finding a flow easier.
After a writing session, the raps are revealed to the rest of the units and they vote who 'won' each rap battle.
Can be done with one round or two, with the units rotating between each round to give your rap skills a new target to hone in on.

What if characters could buy an outfit "blind box" from the store at a discount? The idea being that characters would have an incentive to buy it due to the discount and the mystery, and players could finally give their characters the stupid outfits of their dreams (while still complying with unit aesthetic.)
To keep people from doing blind boxes all the time, maybe they could be part of a limited-time fanservice event or something? Or maybe a game where characters got additional points for actually wearing the outfits in public.

i guess in effect it would be similar setup to the button game but more in the style of hunger games pvp fighting

Basically, the game itself is just a lottery -- each unit is assigned a number, with the numbers pulled winning and everyone whose numbers are not pulled losing (probably just 1-12 and using the dice bots).
The catch is that there'd be (maybe OOC week-long?) lead-up where units are encouraged to offer a "sacrifice" to affect the penalty levied against the losers of the lottery. A sacrifice would be, like, hunting down and killing a member of another unit! Or less extreme options would be possible, like taking blood, or a limb, etc. Point is it has to be from another unit, and the idea is for some PVP.
If enough sacrifices are given by the deadline (let's say, three, or whatever) then the penalty for those who lose the lottery would be something silly, like hiccups for a week or turning purple or whatever. If not enough are given, the losers die messily.
Units would know all the rules from the start. And then just see what the community does with it :|aa and let them play with, like, morality and the PR repercussions and the whole idea of "3 lives vs the lives of 6 entire units" or whatever.
A possible variation could be the sacrifices are basically kidnapees delivered alive, with the units not knowing what will happen to them.
OR, ALTERNATIVELY for a similar mechanic without the terrible and violence, eliminate the lottery portion and just have people give stolen offerings from other units (i.e. a piece of clothing, a weapon, a kiss even who knows) with the winners being whoever gives the most offerings. Still PVP! And stolen items to be returned to their proper owners at the end of the game. Theoretically not trauma then but... I mean... depends on characters and how far they go to get offerings, I guess.

GAME MECHANICS:
'court' style where players oocly choose 5 objectives and characters icly need to figure out what they are and then like. fulfill them.
Characters will icly get a one word hint.IE:
Objective: "Tickle someone"
Hint: "Laughter"
Objective: "Tell someone something good about yourself."
Hint: "Pride"
it's not meant to be INTENSELY DIFFICULT so much as allow people to OOCly facilitate the types of threads they are interested in having. Grading criteria will be half 'How many objectives did you discover' and half 'how many times did you fulfill your objectives' with a cap at fulfilling each 10 times.
Some other details I will work out later, pondering having a variety of 'emotional highs' you get from fulfilling an objective, not necessarily positive or all the same.
Not a trauma game but not an enforced nice game. IDK about ya'll but i am deffo giving my character a face punching objective.
WOULD LIKE TO RUN FAIRLY SOON? i don't see anything on the calendar rn. Let me know if this is ok and also remind me if i need to do. anything....
thank!!!!

Since in Imeeji, teams aren't supposed to hurt or sacrifice each other within the unit, I'd be interested in seeing a game where units are paired up and *can* sacrifice people on the other unit--but like... cooperatively?
I HAVE NO IDEA IF THERE'S A WAY THAT WOULD MAKE THAT WORK, but just like hitting at the concept of using this other team's abilities/strength/sacrifice to get both units farther toward a goal??
no subject
You know what this means. Imeeji also needs to do Phantom Thieves!
I thought this would work well as a prospective month theme, since running an actual game would probably be incredibly labor-intensive. Plus it'd be interesting to see the Lives that different characters and units came up with for it.
