DESCRIPTION

The wood-lined interior of the Taishoubu Cafe is meant to evoke the feeling of a tranquil bamboo forest, offering a little escapism from the hectic day to day idol life. Its design centers around a timber treescape structure made up of assorted tones of maple planks arranged around columns across the ceiling to mimic the beautiful intricacies of a tree canopy. It's also got a relatively subdued color palette inspired ( unsurprisingly ) by bamboo, so it includes dark brown ceilings, soft green upholstery, and grey terrazzo flooring. The cafe also boasts an impressive kitchen for cooking and baking alike, with an wide range of appliances to help tackle just about any dish imaginable!

There's a reading nook tucked in the far corner of the cafe, an inset shelving unit stocked to the brim with all kinds of dvds and books framing an elegant wood burning stove. Portraits of Taisho Roman Revolution members, both past and present, hang above it, and rounding out the cozy niche are a number of comfortable couches and chairs inundated with pillows ( and a single blanket! ) that maaaay just have current Taisho member's profile names embroided on them.

A floating timber staircase connects the cafe to its theater, though its really just a larger than life TV swept behind a couple of fancy curtains and surrounded by a couple of recliners and chaise lounges. The last thing of note is the long stretch of hall leading up to this, because it's an artist's wet dream. The walls are all blank, and a panel sitting on a trolley at the start can be used to select the material you'd like to "art" on - blackboard, canvas, regular, whiteboard, etc. A plethora of supplies can also be found in the aforementioned trolley.
