At the back of the Game Room, opposite the door that leads to the Duel Arena, is on which leads to a school dojo and outdoor range. The floors are smooth polished wood, falling away to gravel and grass, the walls somewhat aged but plainly cared for by those who practiced in these halls.
The wall opposite the open side of the room holds shared practice equipment, available for anyone: racks of traditional longbows, quivers with rubber-tipped arrows, hooks with multiple sets of well worn but comfortable sound canceling head gear and safety eyewear hanging from them. For those picking up a new weapon, there are guidebooks, safety tips, care instructions, and other educational materials on a mounted bookshelf next to the equipment. There is also a locked cabinet to the side, the combination scratched, small and hidden, on the wood paneling behind the lock by some student who could never remember what it was, where one can pick out any exotic or lethal styles of ranged weaponry and ammunition a student can imagine. However all weapons produced by the cabinet only damage targets in the room and have no effect on other idols-- and of course no one may leave the designated training area with school weapons, they're for education only!
Down the grassy range (sectioned off from the track and field with chain-link fencing) there are rows of targets, all controllable with the same switch panel that opens and closes the separating wall between the range and the dojo. On one setting, thick padded targets for arrows and bolts rise up from the ground, on another, paper figures flip up for shooting, and the last are specialized targets that light up when successfully struck with electricity.
Although the room displays a "Shooting and Archery Club" placard prominently on a rafter beam, there is evidence that this was originally a Girls Shooting and Archery club. There is a ribbons and trophy display on the far wall highlighting the accomplishments of the girls of pep!pep! Among the various prizes on display, there are photos of Wednesday drawing her bow during a Heart Game and Ren with pistol outstretched as she defended her teammates from imps.
The overall feel of the room is cozy and well used. The weather is always nice and never so bright or so dark as to interfere with visibility, and the separating panel wall is often left open. But they say if you use the range at night, sometimes out of the corner of your eye, just beyond the farthest targets, you can see the shadow of a very unfortunate student, stuck full of arrows from an 'accident' that happened back when the school's safety measures were more lax.
