From the snake-pit entryway, an archway door leads to a welcoming room specifically for guests-- it doesn’t hook up to the main FiN dorm except by use of the entry-way. The inside though, seems like a distinct improvement for guest hangouts, the ambiance a lot more friendly. The distinctive white remains the primary color, but the underside of the seats and coffee table in here glow a soft rainbow, and the shelves around the room glow with iridescent lava lamps. Rather than wax inside it appears to be some sort of strange futuristic metal suspended in there. Cushioned bubble chairs also float at whatever height they’re set at, from a remote that usually sits on the coffee table, though you can carry that off like it’s a television remote, so careful not to lose it! All the walls are mirrored, as to make it seem to stretch out into eternity-- unless you use your cell phone and connect to one of the walls and decide to use one as a very large television screen.

Unbeknownst only to members of future is now, though, the guest room also has one of those walls functioning as a one-way mirror: from the inside of their main room, they can see whatever is going on in there. You know, just in case. The guest room is also sound-proofed from the rest of the dorm, so the guests won’t be able to hear anything going on in the main dorm.
