Shrike and Nero's rooms both contain a door which - through a cut stone escape tunnel - lead to the same place: a terrace above a large grassy field with a reflecting pool/fountain running halfway through the center. Dual staircases set on either side of a statue of a griffin rampant (with, if one looks closely enough, a butcherbird on its head) lead down from the terrace to the courtyard proper, which is surrounded by the castle that avante's dorm seems to exist in. A walkway of marbled stone checkered blue and indigo and surrounds the grassy area - and a few marble benches sit adjacent to the fountainpool, allowing one to...reflect. A slanted, tiled awning protrudes from the courtyard walls, supported by archways to protect most of the walkway from the sun and the weather. While there are doorways set into the walls, every door seems to always lead back to either Nero or Shrike's room, no matter where it's actually located.

Rows of oak trees and hydrangea bushes provide decoration for the area, which follows Tokyo-F's normal day/night cycle.
