DESCRIPTION

The room is a massive library, housed in what looks to be a disused factory, with high ceilings and an open second level reached by a metal stairway that twists its way up the room's center to the overhang. Near the stairs are a collection of tables and chairs in mismatched reclaimed wood, more than enough seating for two whole units.

The walls are exposed brick, set with wide, arched factory windows to let in the light. Overhead, exposed lightbulbs dangle from unfinished beams, adding to the industrial feel. The bookshelves are all of metal, pipework, and reclaimed wood, and there are rows and rows of them, packed with books: histories, murder mysteries, DIY manuals, novels, and everything in between.

Additional seating can be found in among the maze of books — small nooks and crannies available for people to curl up and read. Corduroy beanbag chairs and window seats with shabby pillows are dotted here and there along the length of the library, each little oasis set with its own reclaimed wood end table and pipework lamp.
